Same Old Enchiladas with a Different Sauce
I used 2 different peppers to spice things up. |
Drum Stick Cooking Spoon that was a really awesome Christmas gift! |
Mixing it all up |
Topped it off with some pepper jack cheese and a mild enchilada sauce I bought. |
One of the peppers had to be eaten before the picture was even taken! The directions are the same exact way I made the ones before. It's a simple and easy recipe that anyone can cook! |

Beef Enchiladas In A Mild Green Salsa
The sharp cheddar and the green enchilada sauce ended up to be a great match together. |
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can of any green salsa
- flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 can of re-fried beans
- 1 cup of rice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F . In a skillet over medium high heat, cook the ground beef and onion until beef is evenly browned and onion is tender.
- Prepare the enchilada sauce according to package directions. Pour 1/4 cup of the sauce into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- On each flour tortilla, place an equal portion of the ground beef mixture and about 1 ounce of Cheddar cheese, reserving at least 1/2 cup of cheese. Then tightly roll the tortillas and place seam side down in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining sauce over the top of the enchiladas and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and olives.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and cheese is thoroughly melted.

Banana Bread
This ended up to be the final product. I topped it off with some crushed almonds and some more Nutella on top. |
Getting ready to put the mix in. |
These are all the ingredients I used. I blended them all together and spread it apart evenly in the baking dish. |
This is what it looked like after I took it out of the oven. |
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
2 eggs
4 bananas
1/2 cup Nutella
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Directions: Mix with food processor or blender, pour into greased 9" x 14" pan bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes until a knife comes out clean.
Rolling Up Some Sushi
Using a purple bamboo mat to roll up some sushi. |
I put about an inch of rice on the sushi paper. |
This is one of my tuna salad rolls with shredded carrots in it. |
These rolls look delicious! |
I set up the table for the party. It was fairly quick to make and they were all gone by the end of the night. |
Ingredients:
1. Sushi rice
2. Seaweed paper
3. Crab sticks
4. Shredded carrots
5. Tuna salad
6. Sliced cucumber
7. Japanese Caviar
8. Rice vinegar
9. Whatever else you feel like putting it.
Directions:
First cook the rice, and after it is cooked add a little rice vinegar to it and let is cool for about 15 minutes. After that get all of your ingredients ready and start rolling up some sushi with your bamboo mat. All of these ingredients should run you at about $30 and will make about 8-10 rolls. It also only took me about 30 minutes to make all of it after the rice was ready.
